In March 2006, Times Square
Church traveled to Rosario,
Argentina to hold three days of
evangelistic rallies and
humanitarian outreaches. The
Lord had a very specific place in
mind for us to minister in: the
desperately poor “barrios” of
the city.
In these barrios children run around with barely any clothes and dig through garbage dumps for food. The children of one particularly poor barrio, home to a Toba Indian community, stole our hearts. The pastor we met there is believing God to raise his community out of poverty. God knit our hearts together and a relationship was born.
ChildCry helps support the Toba Community Feeding Program that is run by the women of the community. |
