A TSC family is faithfully serving the Lord in Northern Afghanistan. They are involved in various projects that provide clean water, daily bread and other food supplements for needy children in Badakhshan. Their assistance is ministered through local schools and a local orphanage.
This region in Northern Afghanistan is one of the poorest and is the most remote. Due to years of civil fighting, lack of infrastructure, and the remoteness of Badakhshan, unemployment is high and the standard of living is extremely low. Over 80% of the children do not have access to clean water or adequate daily nutrition. Social assistance from the government is not enough to sustain even a small family.
In this needy area of Northern Afghanistan, the Badakhshan Orphanage offers a place of relief and refuge for 85 orphans. The children are grateful to have clean drinking water and food on a daily basis.
ChildCry provides the funds needed for 85 orphan children to have access to daily bread and clean water. It also funds Water Projects, which provide clean drinking water for thousands of boys and girls. |
